漢英雙語詩〈老人〉刊登於《芝加哥時報》2024.4.26 〈老人〉 老人破口大罵 他躺得舒舒服服的安樂椅 突然被擋去了陽光 他不知道 他的太陽早就下了山 長久以來照耀他的 乃是月光或返照迴光 或根本只是 虛幻閃爍的霓虹燈光 但他昏花的老眼倒沒欺騙他 那轟隆轟隆直直向他輾壓過來的 確確實實 是一部摧枯拉朽的築路機 AN OLD MAN he cursed out loud someone was blocking sunlight from his easy chair he did not know his days were long gone the light shining on him was the last radiance of the setting sun or the moonlight or simply an illusion from the flickering neon signs but his dim-sighted eyes had not deceived him it turned out that it was indeed a gigantic road machine crushing crumpling roaring straight toward him
