烟暗的灯光下

用吃奶的力气
鼓腮冲荡
引发一座座
封闭多年的火山
a hot stream
continuously enters his body
from Mother Earth
under the dim lights
the black jazz musician
huffs and puffs
like an infant sucking mother’s breast
setting off a series of eruptions
from once-dormant volcanoes
